the party continues

there are 90minute displays of football that remind me of the reason why football is otherwise known as the “beautiful game” (recall the brazil-japan game of a few days ago). of course some teams play more beautifully than others, and some teams are just outright more beautiful than others. but at the end of the day, 90 mins of beating the crap out of a little ball is a blank slate for creativity.

a related party tale: my cousin had an awesome little party the day before lil’ sis left. so we rocked away to all the crazy pop tunes of the current generation. you know what they say: !خوشگلها باید برخسن
it helped me remember that life for most of us is probably a million times better than it would have been just 100 years ago. that’s about as optimistic as i can get right now but it’s a start.
