the next scene

so i’ve been working on the next scene and so much of great/little significance has happened that it would really make for awful theatre. in the meanwhile, i’m awaiting some timely divine intervention (literally:)

on a diff note, i have to say that i feel there is a strange atmosphere that has taken over the city over the last couple of weeks. i’ve personally witnessed a couple of heated confrontations over little things that may well have developed into brawls (except i didn’t wait around to find out). i can’t help but feel that i’m in the midst of something that is so much bigger than me. the tidal wave is still building up and it’s going to come crashing down on a very unassuming population. if i live to tell the tale, it might be with a misty look in my eyes about a city, in all its confused/complex-glory, where i spent a very interesting year of my life.
